Septage receivers reduce the load to the treatment plant, reduce plant maintenance requirements and provide a means to measure and monitor the effluent being disposed of. Brickhouse Technologies LTD has designed and built the RAS100 septage receiving station as a tailored solution to NZ septage. Experience has shown that European septage receiver systems are often not adequate for New Zealand conditions, where septage sludge has a much higher solids content, often resulting in blockages and extremely slow processing times.
The range of screens offered by Brickhouse has been developed in New Zealand for New Zealand requirements and designed to allow treatment of up to 100m3/h of sludge to 8% solids content, allowing for a possible five minute discharge and turn-around of tankers.
The Brickhouse septage screen is fully PLC controlled and can be fitted with data collation and storage for identifying by operator and tanker.
Brickhouse Technologies LTD will also design a septage receiving station based on our knowledge to meet specific customer requirements. See recent projects.
Johnson Screens provide a European style Septage Receiving Station which is suitable for receiving sludge directly from tankers at a sludge unloading station through a quick connect coupling.
The compact plant is constructed out of heavy gauge materials. Screening and dewatering of the solids are carried out within the septage receiving station.
