Dix stainless steel filters are manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel (316 optional) and are available in an extensive range of configurations, sizes and filtration grades, including:

  • Manual and automatic backflushing.
  • Body configurations, in-line or right angle models.
  • Backflush motor available as 12 volt DC, 240 volt AC or 415 volt AC
  • Backflush controller available as 12 volt DC, 24 volt AC, 240 volt AC or 415 volt AC.
  • Nominal flow rates of 375; 500; 750; 1,500; 3,000; 4,500; 7,500 and 10,000 Lpm.
  • Working pressure 1000kPa.
  • Other configurations and flanges are available upon request.
  • Manifolds can be built to bank multiple filters for greater flow rates and to allow individual filters to be serviced while the system is operational.

Stainless Steel Hydromedia Filters

Dix Media filters employ a 'natural' form of filtration - passing water through a bed of sand or gravel. By careful media selection, filtration grades of 20 micron or less can be achieved.

  • 230mm, 380mm, 500mm, 900mm, 1200mm diameters
  • Manual backflushing models: 230mm and 380mm tank sizes
  • Automatic backflushing models: 500mm, 900mm and 1200mm tank sizes
  • Backflush controller available as 12 volt DC, 24 volt AC and 240 volt AC

Helix Automatic Disc Filters

AZUD automatic disc filters incorporate a unique helix cartridge that extends the filtration cycle between backflushing and saving water.

Azud Helix Automatic Disc filters are mounted on 304-grade stainless steel (316 optional) manifolds and are available in a number of configurations including:

  • Standard helix automatic systems are available with flow rates up to 180m³/hr (306 model) Helix plus to 360m³ hr (312 model)
  • 9m³/hr @ 300kPa - minimum flow and pressure for effective backflushing of a single filter (302 to 308 models)
  • 18m³/hr @ 300kPa - minimum flow and pressure for effective backflushing of two filters (310 and 312 models)
  • 1000kPa maximum working pressure
  • Table D flanges are standard. Other flanges are available upon request.
