1800 Marine Odour Control Valve

The 1800 Marine Odour Control Vent Valve is designed to allow for ventilation of black water and grey water tanks. On smaller vessels, the model 1800 provides necessary odor control at the tank's location.

The valve connects to a gooseneck pipe, or can be vertically mounted on the ship's deck with a rain shield. The valve body may be easily disassembled with two quick release lockable metal latches. The interior of the body contains a canister containing 12 lbs of odor controlling media. The media is engineered in pellet form to allow for adequate airflow thru the media bed, and is highly effective in removing hydrogen sulfide gas (h3S) found in wastewater treatment applications. Pellets are non-toxic and landfill disposable. The media contains blue indicator pellets that turn white when the media is spent. A complementary lab analysis is also offered to determine the remaining life of the media. This is especially helpful in creating an effective preventative maintenance program for odor control.

The 1850 is a combination odor control vent valve, with the additional feature of a ball check to prevent water from submerging the media bed during rough seas. The 1850 is cast in 356-T6 aluminum, and epoxy coated for protection from the harsh sea environment. It is available with either a 4" or 6" flanged end that mounts directly to a gooseneck pipe. The interior of the body contains a canister filled with 12 lbs of odor scrubbing media. The media is engineered in pellet form to allow for excellent airflow thru the media bed. Our media is highly effective in removing hydrogen sulfide gas ( h3S ) . Pellets are non-toxic, and landfill disposable. Every 1850 is equipped with tamper proof lockable latches, a HDPE float, and stainless screens to prevent debris from entering into the valve casting.

The valve is constructed from aluminum, and is epoxy coated for protection from the harsh sea environment. The 2050 Marine odor control valve has 4 louvered vents to allow for maximum air flow of deodorized air. h3S gas is directed thru a canister containing 30 lbs or 50 lbs of odor controlling media. The media is an engineered product, designed to chemically absorb the h3S gas and change it to a non-toxic compound. Blue indicator life pellets turn white when the media is spent. A complimentary lab analysis of the media is available after a period of 8-12 months. Feedback from lab testing will greatly assist in determining the proper PM maintenance program for each vent site. Every unit is equipped with tamper proof lockable latches.

The 2050 Intake Marine Odor Control Valve allows for ventilation and odor control for black and grey water tanks on board a ship, or at pump stations in port. Two Intake valves allow for up to 400 CFM of fresh air to intake directly into the lines without any restrictions from the unit's media bed. The valve is constructed from aluminum, and is epoxy coated for protection from the harsh sea environment. It has 4 louvered vents to allow for maximum air flow of deodorized air. h3S gas is directed thru a canister containing 30 lbs or 50 lbs of odor controlling media. The 2050-100i Odor Control Valve is designed to allow for ventilation and odor control for black and grey water tanks on board a ship, or at pump stations in port. The valve is constructed from aluminum, and is epoxy coated for protection from the harsh sea environment.

Each valve contains (2) 50 lb canisters of odor scrubbing media. Our media is engineered in pellet form to allow for excellent air flow thru the media bed. Pellets chemiabsorb the molecules in the h3S gas, and change them into a non-toxic, odor free compound. Our media is landfill disposable.

The 2050-100i also contains two check valves to allow for fresh air intake directly into the lines or tank during pumping sequences. If the intake valves are not required, we will cap them o prior to shipping. Each valve has louvered covers to allow for maximum air ow of deodorized air. Every valve is equipped with tamper proof lockable latches.

The 2050-200i marine odor control vent valve is designed to allow for ventilation of black and grey water tanks, while providing necessary odor control at the tank's location. This unit is recommended for high concentrations of h3S gas or larger volumes of CFM. For smaller applications, we offer our marine 1800 odor control valve.

The 2050-200i is constructed from aluminum, and is epoxy coated to protect the unit from corrosion in the harsh sea environment. It contains (4) fifty pound canisters of odor scrubbing media, and 4 check valves that allow up to 1000 CFM of fresh air to enter directly into the tank during pumping sequences. Each unit has a louvered cover to allow for maximum air flow of deodorized air. Covers have stainless steel lockable latches to prevent tampering.

The 2050-200i mounts vertically to the deck of the ship. It has slotted feet to allow the unit to be bolted securely to the deck. It has a standard ANSI 150 4" side mounted flange, that contains a 4" NPT threaded connection. Metric flanges are available upon request.
